Q: Can you read my prescription off my existing glasses?

Yes! You may send in your glasses with a completed mail order form for us to read the prescription from them. There is an additional charge for this service of £ 10. We will return your glasses to you following taking a reading from them.

Q: Can you re-glaze my existing frames?

Yes we can reglaze your own frames with lens prices starting from £ 25. All frames for reglaze are accepted at patient own risk. Please call customer services for more details.

Q: Can I inspect the frames before purchase?

Yes. We are happy to give customers a trial service. For home trial you may order up to 3 pairs at a time only from the standard or semi-rimless or the bendable range. To cover the labour, postage, and packing costs we charge a payment of £ 3.75 per pair of trial frames which will be charged to your credit/debit card. This payment is not refundable once you place an order with us. This service is available by clicking on the “Try at home” within the product pages. The trial frame will be dispatched to you with a pre-paid return envelope. Trial frames must be returned to us within 14 days, otherwise we will charge your credit card the price as listed on the website. We can also do a trial at home on the Designer range. Simply tick the box in the product page for trial at home. A non-refundable charge of £ 10 is made to cover postage, packaging and handling. We take a deposit equal to the price of your glasses at checkout which is fully refundable in the event that you decide not to purchase. The trial frame will be dispatched to you with a pre-paid envelope. Trial frame must be returned back to us within 14 days.

Q: What do the frame measurements mean?

The most important frame measurements that you need to know are the following: Lens size, Bridge Width and Side Length. These measurements are usually written on the Side of the frame. Please see picture below:





Q: I have diabetes/glaucoma/ocular hypertension?

Yes, you can order glasses from us, but we strongly recommend annual eye examination for those suffering from these conditions.
